Welcome and So Long to Iron Mountain
Labor Day 2024!
Iron Mountain is where I have posted my essays for many years.
From NOW ON I will be posting at a website under the name The View from Now or as soon as I can manage it a site at bkmark.me under the same name."
This site will remain intact, but no (as far as I can imagine) new postings will be made here.
The reason is that the problem stated by the book The Report from Iron Mountain has receded in the public imagination and from my own conscience, and that is because of the fact that the Military Industrial Complex is, if not the least of our problems, it no longer frames our more salient issues.
The The View from Now has inherited all those years of essays, so they're not gone.
